For one of our international clients we are looking for a GL Accountant.

Are you an experienced and international oriented Financial? Do you have experience in General Ledger Accounting? If so, than you could be the GL Accountant we are looking for!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assisting with the monthly closure (processing the accruals and matching the sub-ledgers with the balance)
• Responsible for various banks and corresponding reconciliations (4 entities)
• Analysing outstanding items and making the correction journal entry
• Responsible for drafting various balance sheet specifications
• Preparation of various reports for the management (Excel)
• Tracking and monitoring various general ledger accounts
• Matching several bank-accounts
• Matching several intercompany-accounts
• Cleaning and clarify suspense accounts
• Connecting creditors and debtors on the balance sheet (sub with GL)
• Making and improving job- and process descriptions
• Supporting Sr. accountant

PROFILE

• Relevant accounting degree
• A minimum of two years work experience with a monthly close in a fast-paced and rapidly changing business environment
• Working knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS/Dutch GAAP
• User experience of financial software (for example: Oracle, SAP, Peoplesoft)
• Strong Excel skills, with interest and aptitude to work with large amounts of data

• Confident, proactive and approachable personality, team spirit
